Internet Forum Monkeys

You know, I peruse Internet forums looking for entertaining, funny or down right fucked up discussions about this and that. Here's one I found about yours truly and this blog and what this one particular forum monkey had to say (member ID = ThirdLane; http://www.tsxclub.com/forums/showthread.php?p=430549):

"Rota and Rotora is actually pretty decent, not something I would install on my TSX but its pretty decent."

What the fuck qualifies as "pretty decent"? He states that he won't put it on his car yet calls it "pretty decent?" What is pretty decent about products that come from God knows where?

"And PS, even reputable aftermarket companies have manufacturing based in China. I've seen some HKS, Apex-i, Mugen/M-Tech parts made in China. Rota is a Malaysian firm"

Sure, that is and may be a fact for all the companies listed above, but there is engineering behind it. That's not what everyone is talking about. And Rota is a company based in the Philippines. I ask... what high quality motorsports / automotive stuff comes out of the Philippines? JACK SHIT.

"I wanna see some proof. Please dig up any of my posts or threads of me promoting any of said companies. Besides if the company is ISO9000 compliant I really don't give a damn if their parts are made in China."

This forum monkey throws around ISO as if he knows what ISO is. He obviously heard the term somewhere else and, without understanding, he points this out. Fuckin typical forum monkey behavior. He makes it sound as if an official from the International Standards Organization stands around, observing and approving the ACTUAL manufacturing process. ISO9000/9001 has NOTHING to do with the actual manufacturing, raw material sourcing, alloying, heat treating / tempering, engineering, designing and testing of the product. Do your fuckin research before you open your uneducated and uninformed mouth about something which you have no fuckin clue.

Internet forums = cesspool populated by the lowest common denominator.
